Friday is my final day at my job; the end of my 2 years, 10 months and 28 days in this area. And I couldn't be more excited.
The last time I felt this enthusiastic about a move, I was 12 years old. My dad was retiring from the military, we were moving back to West Virginia and my family was finally getting a puppy—something I'd dreamed about my whole life. I was so ready for the new adventure.
I've always liked change, but ever since then, each move has been more stressful than the last; finding a new place to move every year of college, heading to North Carolina for my first job, moving here, then moving into my tiny room-for-rent.
